Fusion Inhibitors HIV/AIDS

Enfuvirtide was the first of a class of antiretroviral drugs known as fusion inhibitors. Enfuvirtide fight off HIV in CD4 cells, preventing HIV from infecting CD4 cells and healthy. Other antiretroviral drugs act inside the cells CD4 after HIV has entered them, and infected, and has begun to replicate or make copies of itself.
