Appendicitis is the inflammation of the appendix, an organ of unknown function and appearance of worm or finger is on the junction between the small and large intestine in the lower right abdomen near the groin.
The causes are unclear. Sometimes, due to an obstruction of the appendix with food, but at other times is related to gastrointestinal infections.
